The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, welcomed Special Representative of the Mayor of Essen Metropolitan Municipality in Germany and member of the Zonguldak Workgroup, Muhammet Balaban, together with a specialist at the Center for Türkiye and Integration Studies, Cem Şentürk, in his office.
The Director of the BEUN Energy Application and Research Center, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özarslan, accompanied Balaban and Şentürk during the visit held at the Rectorate office. Expressing his pleasure at the kind visit, Rector Özölçer had a cordial conversation with his guests and shared views on the potential collaboration opportunities between the two regions and universities.
Emphasizing the pleasure of the hospitality, Balaban and Şentürk extended their thanks to Rector Özölçer for his kind hospitality and stated that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University has a significant place among higher education institutions with its studies in fields from engineering and sports to education and social activities in the national and international academic community.
