Çaycuma District Governor Adem Kaya, Devrek District Governor Onur Alp Bıçakcı and Gökçebey District Governor Hatice Ruveyda Kahraman Şıktaş, paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his office.

Strong Collaboration between BEUN and City District Governorships

During the visit held at the Rector’s office, District Governors wished Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy best in his new appointment. Evaluations were made on strengthening the collaboration between BEUN and District Governorships and initiatives of the university in the districts.

Rector Ulusoy: “We need to Strengthen Collaborations in All Fields from Education and Industry to Arts and Culture and Regional Development”

Expressing his pleasure at the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ulusoy stated his wishes to enhance collaboration with public institutions in his tenure. Rector Ulusoy highlighted the need to increase the number of initiatives that will contribute to the social and cultural development of the students, support regional development, and reflect university’s academic background.

Highlighting that collaborations will contribute to all the fields from education and industry to culture and arts and social responsibility projects as well as regional development, Rector Ulusoy thanked Çaycuma District Governor Adem Kaya, Devrek District Governor Onur Alp Bıçakcı, and Gökçebey District Governor Hatice Ruveyda Kahraman Şıktaş for their kind visit.
