Zonguldak Director of Youth and Sports Halil Hacı and Zonguldak Director of Culture and Tourism Taner Dursun paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), with the approval of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and wished him best for his new appointment.
Zonguldak’s Cultural Values Are Carried into the Future with BEUN
During the visit at the Rector’s Office, Provincial Directors Halil Hacı and Taner Dursun expressed their thanks to Rector Ulusoy for his kind hospitality and wished him success. Dursun and Hacı also informed Rector Ulusoy on the activities carried out with BEUN in the fields of sports, culture, and tourism.
Rector Ulusoy: “We Care about Students’ Social and Cultural Development as well as Their Academic Success”
Expressing his pleasure for the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ulusoy thanked Provincial Directors Hacı and Dursun for their kind visit. Emphasizing that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University is a significant part of social, cultural, and sports life of the city, Rector Ulusoy stated that bringing the academic background together with the values of Zonguldak will contribute to the development of the students and promotion of the city and added:
“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we care about bringing our students together with sports, culture, and arts as well as raising them as well-established individuals. We care about providing our students with the opportunity to spend their university years not merely in the classes but in sports fields, cultural and arts activities, social responsibility projects and values of the city. In this respect, I hope through the projects carried out in collaboration with public institutions, we will be able to initiate activities that will promote Zonguldak on a larger scale and graduate more well-established individuals. I would like to thank Provincial Directors for their visit and best wishes and wish them success in their endeavors.”
