Zonguldak Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Kapağan paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

During the meeting at the Rector’s office, Chief Public Prosecutor Kapağan congratulated Rector Prof. Dr. Ulusoy and wished him success in his new role. BEUN’s contributions to the scientific, social, and cultural development of Zonguldak, as well as the need to strengthen university-public collaboration, were also discussed.

“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, known for its century-long history, strong academic background, and qualified graduates and students, we will continue to contribute to the development of the city and the achievement of our country’s higher-education goals. As academic institutions, universities contribute to the cultural, social, and academic development of the cities in which they are located. In line with this understanding, we need to draw on our academic expertise to address the needs of our city and contribute to our country’s goals. With this in mind, I would like to thank our Chief Public Prosecutor for his kind visit and good wishes, and wish him good health, peace, and success.”
