The Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) family is deeply saddened by the loss of İdris Karadöngel, an administrative staff member at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The late Karadöngel was sent off on his final journey with prayers following the funeral ceremony.

BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, academic and administrative staff, the Karadöngel family, relatives and many citizens attended the funeral ceremony held at İncivez Mosque. A funeral prayer was performed for the late İdris Karadöngel at İncivez Mosque following the noon prayer. Following the prayer, the congregation gave their blessing and prayers were offered. After the prayers, Karadöngel’s body was sent to Yenice district of Karabük, his hometown, where he will be buried at Yenice Cemetery following the funeral ceremony to be held there.

At the funeral ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of the late Karadöngel and said:

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our valuable colleague İdris Karadöngel, who contributed to our University for many years with his dedication and devotion. May Almighty Allah have mercy on our esteemed colleague, and I extend my condolences to his grieving family, loved ones and the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University family. May he rest in heaven.”
