The Integrated Master’s Program is starting at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN). The Integrated Master’s Program, to be carried out by the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Graduate School of Health Sciences, and Graduate School of Social Sciences, provides students with the opportunity to take classes at the master’s level before graduation, learn about research culture, and step into academic life.
BEUN aims to provide students with the opportunity to advance into academic life, strengthening their transition from undergraduate level to graduate level earlier, as of the 2026–2027 Academic Year Fall Term.
In their last year of university education, students will be able to take classes at the master’s level while continuing with their education. Thus, students will be able to introduce themselves to the scientific research process, gaining experience at the master’s level without finishing their undergraduate programs.
Strong Transition into Master’s Level
The Integrated Master’s Program, initiated by the Council of Higher Education, is a significant opportunity for students who aim for an academic career, are interested in scientific research, want to determine their field of study during their undergraduate level education, and aim to prepare for graduate-level education then.
Thanks to the program, students will be able to:
- take classes at the master’s level;
- get ready for graduate-level education before graduation;
- get used to scientific research and academic study culture;
- shape their academic and professional career goals; and
- make a strong start to their master’s-level education.

In his remarks on the topic, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy stated the following:
“The Integrated Master’s Program is a significant opportunity for our students to shape their academic careers during their undergraduate-level education. In this respect, it is important to raise individuals who research, produce, question, and contribute to science.
The fact that they can take master’s-level classes will enable them to advance in their academic careers earlier, discover their field of interest, and make an informed decision on their career goals. This program aims to provide students with the opportunity to advance into master’s-level education stronger, so I wholeheartedly believe that our students who choose a path in academic life at an early age will produce more qualified studies.
With this in mind, I wholeheartedly congratulate all our students who will step into their academic journey and wish them success. I hope our students will make use of this opportunity and will gain experience as part of this program.
I extend my gratitude to the President of the Council of Higher Education and its community for their vision in introducing this program and supporting students to step into their academic life earlier. Applications Will Be Accepted on 14–15 September
Applications for the Integrated Master’s Program, which will be carried out by the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Science, Graduate School of Health Sciences, and Graduate School of Social Sciences, will be accepted on 14–15 September 2026.
The results will be announced on 21 September 2026. Final registration and course enrollment procedures will be carried out between September 21 and 23.
