Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) celebrated Teachers’ Day with a meaningful event. Hosted by the university, “Concert of the Maarif Teachers Chorus and Orchestra” was held with the great participation of art lovers at the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center.
Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu and his wife, Güney Hacıbektaşoğlu, Zonguldak Chief Prosecutor Gökhan Kapağan, BEUN Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Bekir Hakan Bakkal, city dignitaries, and many art lovers attended the program.
A Feast of Turkish Art Music from Teachers
Music teachers performed distinguished songs of Turkish Art Music on the 24th of November, Teachers’ Day. The audience had emotional moments with the songs performed by the chorus and the orchestra. The performance demonstrated the proficiency of teachers in the field of music and their artistic background.
