A farewell and plaque presentation ceremony was held at the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education Inspection Board for Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University by Presidential Decision No. 2026/267, published in the Official Gazette dated August 18, 2026, came together with Ercan Özkan, President of the Council of Higher Education Inspection Board, and the Board members.

President Özkan Expresses His Thanks and Wishes Success

At the ceremony held at the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education Inspection Board, President Ercan Özkan thanked Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy for his successful work within the Board and his contributions to the institution, wished him success in his new position, and expressed his best wishes.

BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy said the following at the ceremony:
