The campus, which will have approximately 14,000 square meters of enclosed space, will not only be an educational building consisting of classrooms. At the same time, it will be the center of scientific production, social life, and a student-oriented university approach.

Within the campus:
  • A modern auditorium with a capacity of 200 people,
  • 6 laboratories,
  • 12 classrooms (2 classrooms of 46 m² each with a capacity of 27 students, 6 classrooms of 50 m² each with a capacity of 36 students, and 4 classrooms of 100 m² each with a capacity of 62 students),

Since the day we took office, we have implemented many important projects that will contribute to the academic, physical, and institutional development of our University, and we continue many other works with determination. Our new Ereğli Campus will be one of the most important reflections of this vision.

At the point reached today, the reinforced concrete works and interior partition walls have been completed. Our campus, which will have approximately 14,000 square meters of enclosed space, will provide our students with a high-quality educational environment in line with the requirements of the age through its modern classrooms, laboratories, auditorium, library, dining halls, and social spaces.

When completed, our campus will not only contribute to the physical capacity of our University. It will also provide significant momentum to the social, cultural, and economic development of Karadeniz Ereğli. This investment will make important contributions to enabling our young people to receive education with stronger opportunities, increasing scientific production, and strengthening the visibility of our city and district in the field of higher education.
During this process, I would like to express my gratitude to the entire Council of Higher Education family, especially the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, for their valuable support to our University.
