The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, welcomed the Rector of Bartın University (BARÜ), Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, in his office.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu and BARÜ Executive Assistant Asst. Prof. Dr. Özkan Avcı accompanied the BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer and the BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya in the visit held in the Rector’s office on Farabi Campus.
Thanking his guests for their kind visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer emphasized that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University and Bartın University hold a significant position among the higher education institutions and stated:
“We are proud of the academic as well as the social and cultural achievements of the first university of the Republic, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, and one of the rising universities of the Western Black Sea Region. Bartın University. I wholeheartedly believe that the collaborations between our university and Bartın University will strengthen in time and will contribute to the development of both cities and the region. I wish success and ease in their work to the entire Bartın University Family in their endeavors.”
Paying a kind visit to the BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya thanked Prof. Dr. Özölçer for his kind hospitality and mentioned the significant studies made in both universities. Expressing his hope that both universities will move confidently toward the future, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya extended his wishes for success and ease in their work to the entire BEUN Family, including the Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer.
