AK Party Zonguldak Member of Parliament Muammer Avcı paid a congratulatory visit to Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy.

MP Avcı: “I Wish Our Rector All the Best in His New Position”

During the visit held at Rectorate, Zonguldak Member of Parliament Muammer Avcı extended his thanks to Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy for his kind hospitality wishing him all the best in his new position. Highlighting that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University is one of the most important higher education institutions, MP Avcı stated the following:

“Our university, the face of Zonguldak - the capital of energy and industry- is one of the most deep-rooted academic institutions. I wholeheartedly believe that Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who has been appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will further advance our university with his academic background, experience in higher education and vision for the university.

I wholeheartedly congratulate our Rector. I wish him success, health, and happiness in his new position. I pray to Allah that the 2026-2027 Academic Year will be blessed and bring goodness.”

Rector Prof. Dr. Ulusoy: “We Will Further Advance University’s Achievements in the Fields from Science and Technology to Production and Industry”

Expressing his thanks to AK Party Zonguldak Member of Parliament Muammer Avcı, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy stated the following:

“I extend my gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who entrusted the position of the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, and express my thanks to the President of Council of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar for his valuable support. I am honored to take over such a significant responsibility. We will work hard to add value to our University and city.

We will work hard to further advance our academic production capacity and support qualified scientific research and innovative studies. We aim to contribute to the needs of Zonguldak, our region, and country by strengthening the university-industry collaborations. We will continue with our work in all fields from education and social-cultural activities to research and career development, in order to educate young people as qualified human resources who will contribute to the future of our country.

With this in mind, I would like to extend my thanks to AK Party Member of Parliament Muammer Avcı for his kind visit and wholeheartedly thank him for his support to our university. I hope this new academic year will be beneficial for the academic community and city.”
