Çaycuma Mayor Bülent Kantarcı, Zonguldak Provincial Director of Industry and Technology Metin Vural, and Secretary General of Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA) Mehmet Çetinkaya paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and wished him success in his new role.

During the visit held at the Rector’s office, Provincial Director Metin Vural, Mayor Bülent Kantarcı, and Bakk Secretary General Mehmet Çetinkaya thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy for his kind visit and wished him success in his new role. During the visit, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between BEUN and public institutions, as well as on efforts to contribute to the development of the city and enhance interaction between the university and the local community.

Expressing the pleasure of the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy thanked his guests for their best wishes and kid visit. Highlighting that BEUN is a significant higher education institution in the national and international academic community, Prof. Dr. Ulusoy stated the following:
“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, one of the deep-rooted higher education institutions in our country, we will try to carry out initiatives contributing to the development of our city and region. Collaborations between university-public institutions, university-industry, and university-local government bodies will not be limited to exchange of information and experience but will contribute to regional development. I believe that we will achieve significant work and carry out visionary initiatives strengthening our collaborations.
