The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş, who was appointed as the President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs upon the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu accompanied the BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer during the visit at the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
Expressing his gratitude for the kind hospitality, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer stated that he extended his best wishes for the new position of Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş as the President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs upon the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Rector Özölçer informed Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş on the academic achievements of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University on the national and international levels. Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer also talked about the activities that support the multifaceted development of students with social, cultural, historical and sports projects carried out through collaborations with public institutions and private sector as well as its scientific productivity.
Expressing the pleasure for the kind visit, the President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş stated that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University has a significant place among higher education institutions with its noteworthy studies in the fields from education and humanities to social sciences and arts. Expressing the pride they feel for the achievements of the university, Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş congratulated Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer for the achievements and wished all BEUN family success in their endeavors.
