The Rector of Bartın University (BARÜ) Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya paid a congratulatory visit to the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy.

Rector Prof. Dr. Akkaya: “I Wish BEUN Community a Successful and Prosperous New Academic Year”

During the visit at the Rector’s Office, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya congratulated Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy on his new appointment and expressed his best wishes for success in his new role. He stated the following:

“I hope the new appointment will be beneficial for the Esteemed Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy and express my thanks for his kind hospitality. We hope to further enhance the academic collaborations, mutual studies and projects. By sharing our knowledge and experience, we believe we will carry out new projects that will contribute to our students, university, and region. I congratulate our new Rector on his new appointment and wish him success in his new term.”

Expressing his thanks to BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya for his kind visit and good wishes, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy said:

In the coming period, we aim to further develop academic cooperation between the two universities and strengthen university-industry cooperation. In this way, we hope that the knowledge and technologies produced at our universities will contribute more to the needs of our region and the development of our students. We must always make every effort to help our students become well-qualified individuals and contribute to the development of our region. With these thoughts, I would like to once again thank our Rector for his kind visit and wish the 2026-2027 Academic Year to be beneficial for both our University and Bartın University.”

The visit ended with a commemorative photograph after the exchange of mutual good wishes.
