Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy in his office, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and expressed his best wishes.
During the visit held in the Rector’s office, Governor Hacıbektaşoğlu congratulated Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy and wished him success in his tenure. Highlighting that BEUN is the face of Zonguldak, Hacıbektaşoğlu expressed his wishes that the new appointment would be beneficial for Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University community, Zonguldak, and academic community.

Expressing his thanks to Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu for his kind visit and best wishes, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy stated that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University will continue to contribute to the university-public institutions-industry collaboration and development of the city as a deep-rooted higher education institution. Emphasizing that BEUN is Zonguldak’s door to opening to the world with its potential, Rector Ulusoy stated that they would put their efforts to contribute to the regional development and advance in national and international fields. Rector Ulusoy wished that 2026-2027 Academic Year would be auspicious for Zonguldak and higher education community.
