AK Party Zonguldak Deputy Saffet Bozkurt, Chairman of the Zonguldak Provincial General Assembly Necdet Karaveli, AK Party Zonguldak Provincial Chairman Mustafa Çağlayan, AK Party Zonguldak Provincial Women’s Branch Chairwoman Tülay Sayılı, AK Party Zonguldak Provincial Youth Branch Chairman Feyyaz Öz, and the accompanying delegation visited Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his office and wished him success in his new position.
During the visit held at the Rector’s office, mutual evaluations were made on BEUN’s achievements in the fields of education, science, social, cultural, and sports, as well as studies regarding the future of the university.
Rector Ulusoy: “Our Goal Is to Further Advance Our University’s National and International Achievements”
Expressing his pleasure at the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy thanked Deputy Saffet Bozkurt and the accompanying delegation for their kind visit and good wishes. Rector Ulusoy stated that they will work to further strengthen Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University’s position in the field of higher education both in Türkiye and internationally, and emphasized the importance of strengthening university-industry cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Ulusoy also highlighted that one of their most important goals is to ensure that the qualified students they will prepare for the future with confidence represent both the university and Zonguldak in the best possible way in different regions of Türkiye and around the world.

The AK Party delegation, headed by Deputy Saffet Bozkurt, stated that BEUN’s academic achievements are a great source of pride for Zonguldak. It was noted that, with its academic background, strong educational infrastructure, and increasing international visibility, the university is one of the distinguished higher education institutions preferred not only by students in Türkiye but also by students from different parts of the world who wish to study in Türkiye.
