At Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), evaluation process has begun for the international students’ application submitted between 1 June and 14 June 2026. 5511 international students from 51 countries applied to the 1595 quotas announced for 130 various programs at BEUN.
Strengthening its position among globally preferred higher education institutions, BEUN demonstrated its success in internationalization goal with the number of applications in 2026 term.
BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer paid a visit to the committee managing the application evaluation process to be informed on the subject. Expressing his pleasure for the meticulous work carried out during this process, Rector Özölçer thanked the members of the committee for their hard work.
Rector Özölçer: “Our University Is a Major Higher Education Institution of Choice by Students All Around the World”
In his remarks on the topic, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer stated the following:
“We are glad to see the concrete results of the initiatives we carried out as part of our internationalization goals as Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. The fact that 5511 international students from 51 countries applied to our university demonstrates that it has a value among international higher education communities.
Being of choice for the students from various cultures reflects the academic quality, scientific production capacity, the trust for its international vision and student-friendly campus life. I would like to thank committee members and staff working with great dedication, care, and sense of responsibility. The process, carried out in line with the principles of transparency, merit and justice, is a significant park of institutional reliability.
I congratulate our students who will be elected to be a part of our university at the end of the evaluation process, and I would like to state that we would be pleased to be with them as part of our BEUN family. I wholeheartedly believe that our students will raise to be academically, socially, and culturally developed.”
The Results Will be Announced on 20 June
The Evaluation process will end on 19 June 2026 and the results will be announced on 20 June 2026. At the end of the process, eligible candidates will be entitled to join BEUN family as students.
